AURORA INITIATIVE

Where research, medicine and mindfulness meet for integral living

PURPOSE
In today’s world, we face a variety of complex health challenges—cancer, autoimmune diseases, mental health conditions, and other chronic illnesses—that often require a holistic approach. Aurora was established to facilitate conversations between experts from diverse fields, creating a space where modern medical treatments are explored alongside time-tested practices, such as mindfulness. By fostering dialogue, Aurora seeks to deepen our understanding of the connection between body and mind and to explore more integrated approaches to health.
STORY BEHIND

I have always been curious about the world, human nature, and life’s deeper questions. But after life took an unexpected turn and I lost my mom, I began to reflect on these questions more profoundly.
My mother was a doctor, and growing up, I was fascinated by the possibilities of medicine. However, as I witnessed people, including my family members, struggling with cancer and autoimmune diseases, I began to question—how can we broaden our understanding of health? Do we truly connect all the dots when examining a diagnosis? Is there more we can do to explore different methods, contribute to research, and uncover how various approaches—both traditional and holistic—might work together to improve lives of people?
This curiosity led me to create Aurora, a symbol of new beginnings and hope. By integrating insights from medicine, up-to-date research and mindfulness practices, Aurora aims to bring together people of different fields, foster collaborations, and hopefully
spark new ways of helping people.

In the upcoming series of events, we will bring together people whose lives in one or the other way are connected with mental health, science and mindfulness.

By delving into the depths of these subjects, I aim to unravel perspectives and collectively search for answers that resonate with the complex fabric of human experience.

It will be like a conversation between friends sitting on a bench on a beautiful spring day and engaging in a conversation about life.

These events will serve as a forum for learning, growth, and the exchange of transformative ideas.

We will dive deep. Our commitment extends to unraveling the connection between mind and body, drawing insights also from the vast landscape of research. From ancient buddhism traditions to modern approaches, we seek to distill the essence of each, recognising the unique contributions they offer to inner peace and holistic being.
